In this course, you’ll explore the fundamentals of technology in film, from narrative, composition and film theory to camera testing, designing digital production workflows and post-production. You’ll study in our state-of-the-art computer games technology lab, kitted with high-performance PCs with dual monitors and cutting-edge GPUs, Sony PlayStation, XBOX and Nintendo Switch development kits, as well as a variety of industry standard software. Develop fundamental skills in designing, developing, and programming 2D and 3D games and learn to develop innovative ‘game-based’ solutions to a diverse range of scenarios. Want to be computer games developer? In this course, you’ll deep-dive into 2D and 3D graphics rendering, physics, artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction which are required for the development of high-end computer games platforms. From producing music, to designing cities, to creating creatures and environments through visual effects, we explore some of the more creative degrees in STEM.
